\"Our<\/a><\/p>\n

When we went to buy our first chickens to produce eggs for us, there was only one left.<\/p>\n

This poor thing was missing most of her feathers, probably from bullying by stronger ones that were crowded in the cage with her.<\/p>\n

She was so ugly and pitiful that no one wanted would buy her.<\/p>\n

But we wanted her and took her home alone to bring her back to health. <\/p>\n

Black Betty grew back her feathers and became a superstar celebrity on the farm, praised and admired by the rest of the chickens after producing a magic egg, the super-rare “double egg” of legend.<\/p>\n
